About Me
Hello! My name is Marissa Elizabeth (Garrow), and welcome to my site!
I am pursuing a double Bachelor's in Marine Biology and Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Currently, I am studying at Sant'Anna Institute in Sorrento, Italy and taking part in an internship as well as a full academic course load. Being abroad in a new work environment has helped me to be able to expand the abilities and skills that I can bring to my other career opportunities.
I believe that one of the most important aspects of life is to give yourself the capability and opportunity to learn and grow. Here at Sant'Anna, I have more opportunities for growth than I would anywhere else.
In the future, I plan to attend graduate school to receive my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While school and learning are my top priorities, it is still important to have hobbies to help reset. I enjoy taking time to relax by reading, painting, and working on my novel.

Veterinary Intern
I have spent the last four months learning how to assist with basic procedures and surgeries. I help with animal care and medication administration as well as maintenance of the facilities and equipment. This position is helping me to prepare for my future path of Veterinary Medicine.

I work as a freelancer under Brainjog communications where I assist a multi-organizational network in prioritizing and filtering feedback from their customers and employees. I allow the companies to see a full overview of their reception in the community with minimal hassle.

In this position, I privately assisted in file organization and network maintenance. I also facilitated the upkeep and continuance of regular activities, often as the sole supervisor.
